The relationship we build with you, our client, is a special one and the wedding day with LAP catering will be a true celebration.
We take care of every element of your catering needs from beautiful canapé receptions, elegant three-course seated wedding breakfast to relaxed informal dining in the garden at home. Whatever the occasion, our team has the experience and the knowledge to deliver your event with a deliciously different flair.
With a wealth of knowledge and experience that we love to share – whether it’s flicking through our little black book of trusted suppliers, or hearing about what’s trending in the fast-paced culinary world, we can assure you with our experienced team that everything is thought of.
We know that weddings aren’t only about the big day. This is why we put as much focus on the planning experience as we do into the day itself: because each moment prior to your wedding should be enjoyable and stress-free.
Reach out and contact us. Our approach to creating your perfect menu begins with a simple conversation over the phone or email. Once we know a little bit more about you, your tastes, and preferences, we start to build a proposal that suggests the menu and any drinks you may desire.
Once you’re happy with the vision for the day a bespoke quote will be created for your event based on the predicted numbers of guests and the menu and wines selected.
VENUE – A new venue for your event will need a site visit to be arranged, if we have catered there before a visit will not be necessary.
MARQUEE – A plan of the site and marquee to be drawn and supplied either by the marquee supplier or ourselves. Layout, furniture, power supply and requirements, flooring, lighting, and entrance tents all to be discussed. LAP is happy to also meet with the marquee supplier on-site to ensure smooth running and that we have everything needed.
Once your booking fee is received and contracts are signed, if you have booked wedding catering at this stage you be supplied with the 1st of our 3 guides to help you on your planning journey. With useful tips, dates of when to supply final catering numbers, how to ask for any dietary requirements on your invitations, and more.
If required we can invite you in for your tasting, although this is not essential. A quick zoom meeting call can suffice to check over finer details in the run-up to the event.
This is the final meeting together for any finishing touches and is dedicated to communicating with you as much, or as little, as you like, so you can fully enjoy your day knowing that a committed team is on hand throughout.
A wedding catering booking consists of 2 to 3 planning meetings*. This allows us time to get to know you and have all the essential planning items and food requirements covered and gives us enough time to clean sufficiently between each appointment.
If you want to book an appointment please take note of some of the specific instructions on our Covid page here
Our menus are tailored to you, your wedding brief, and vision. From garden BBQs and elegant canapés receptions to traditional wedding breakfast, not forgetting late-night bites.
Our menus reflect the seasons with quality local ingredients and unique presentation.
